- Bernard will be saying a few words about how he found his Austins and
then slides & films by Owen Legg.

MAY 1976
Club night Thursday 20th May 1976 Nags Head, Ringwood
- discussions to start on a merger with the Solent A7C. John Page
has organised a run (about 10 miles) to another pub in the New Forest. We will
be leaving here 8.30 no later. If there are any late arrivals the destination
will be the Sir Walter Tyrrell near the Rufus Stone this aide of Cadnam.

AUGUST 1976
Club night Thursday 19th August Nags Head, Ringwood.
This
was to be a quiz night but got changed into an evening run to the Albany Hotel,
Fordingbridge. August 22nd was the first Sunday Run. Roger Ballard
organised a trip to the Old Mill at Harnham nr. Salisbury. Three A7s took
part - Bernard Cowley, Roger Ballard and John Page accompanied by Mike Wragg in
his Standard - and "16 wives, girlfriends & children"!

November Nags Head, Ringwood - The club is christened the
"Dorset Austin Seven Club" and four new badges are put up for debate.

Club night 16th
December Nags Head, Ringwood.
We have devised what is called a Tabletop Concours - that is any part belonging
to, or associated with, a car in immaculate order, or even a model of a car
which you have made, will be judged. There will be two teams, each judging the
others items. A prize will be given for the best item of the evening - only one
entry each please.

contained the first technical article, photocopied from the Austin Technical

fitting a new bevel pinion.

Club night 15th September, Nags Head An A7 Quiz. The
newsletter featured reports on three rallies -
The
Bristol A7 Club held its Longleat Rally in Lord Baths' large back garden,
Netley Marsh and the
Wimborne Air Day.

Club night 20th October, Nags Head. AGM. There is to be
an A7 Clubs Assoc. meeting on the 23rd October and it is hoped that the Dorset
A7 Club will be voted into the Association. It will be proposed that the
subs. stay the same at £2 plus the 75P if you wish to have a magazine. (£12
