BODY
What’s the difference between the high and low chassis?
Ruby 1934 chassis change. Dropped floor level for low
chassis and moved engine mounts. High chassis outrigger is straight for high
chassis or rises for low chassis. The ‘A’ piece at the front of the chassis is
straight on a high frame and swan-necked on low.
Can a Bakelite steering wheel quadrant can be interchanged with the more
attractive aluminium type?
It would probably be impossible to inter-change only the quadrant, however it
would likely be possible to inter-change the entire steering wheel boss together
with the quadrant and levers. The Bakelite quadrant can be removed by releasing
four screws on the underside.
