WELCOME
Welcome to the Dorset Austin Seven Club, a small and friendly club started by Bernard Cowley and a group of enthusiasts in 1976. In the winter, club meetings are held at The Bridge House, 2 Ringwood Rd., Ferndown BH22 9AN on the third Thursday of every month at which we have a range of talks, technical tips demonstrations, as well as the obligatory “Noggin 'n Natter”. During the summer months we visit a variety of country pubs for a drink, a chat or a meal. Each month there is a Sunday road run around the byways of Dorset and Hampshire and in the summer months we have occasional evening runs from May to July. We attend local shows and events as a club throughout the year and also have many social events including skittles night, an annual dinner/dance and a monthly pub meet. On the wider scene, during the year we organize short breaks away, both home and abroad. The club website is a mine of information, and you will be kept up to date with our excellent monthly newsletter packed with club news, run reports, technical tips and period articles. Also, as members of the Austin Seven Clubs’ Association you will receive their quarterly magazine. Very favourable car insurance can be arranged through the club and we have a good range of club regalia such as T-shirts, sweatshirts and car badges.
Please make yourself known to any committee member
when you come to a meeting and you will be made very welcome.
Hoping to meet you soon,
Yours sincerely,
Bernard Cowley (President)
